The firebird is my latest and probably last tattoo. It took two sittings to complete, one in September '10 that lasted three hours for all the linework, and another in December '10 that lasted just under two hours for all the fills.
I'm still not entirely accustomed to having the large firebird arcing across my body, and I often forget that I even have tattoos. I intentionally placed them somewhere I could hide them easily, so I guess the forgetfulness is a given.
Well, that's enough rambling from me. Ask any questions you might have in the comments below!
"I've had my most recent tattoo finished since December 2011."
ReplyDeleteAre you a time traveller as well then? :P
I know what you mean, I often forget I have the tat on the back of my neck, (it's well covered by my hair) until someone mentions it. Unlike you I'm itching to get back under the needle. I want a nautilus shell on my lower back and an infinity on the inside of my wrist (but I know that one will hurt...)
heh, good catch. i think i might have typed it as "January 2011" first and then remembered i got it a few days earlier.
ReplyDeletei want more, and i know where i want them, but i don't know what to put. or why. maybe one day i'll have a reason to go back, hah.
What I like about your tattoos is how unique they are -- never seen anything like them. Did I mention they're beautiful? Because they totally are.
